Each age group will be divided according to karate experience. Each athlete must wear the designated belt color for their level of experience. Tournament Exp Level Belt Beg Less than 1 yr White Nov 1 yr, less than 3 yr Green Int 3 yr, less than 5 yr Brown Adv 5 or more years Black
Athletes may qualify for the National Championships in the following divisions by attending the Inland Empire AAU Championships: Kata, Kobudo or Kumite WBC reserves the right to move competitors in divisions as needed due to qualified registrations. All fees are non-refundable.
Please keep in mind, if you plan to participate in the Regional and National karate competitions you must wear the AAU patch and be an AAU member.
Headgear, chest protectors, mouth guards and athletic protectors for male athletes are required for all junior athletes in kumite competition. Chest protectors are required for female competitors. Certified prescription glasses with strap.

Please join us Friday, April 6th for a training seminar with ...TBA soon....6:30 pm at the Lewiston High School Gym. Cost is $45 and you can also register at the door. This is a great opportunity for all karate practitioners in the Inland Empire. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign up and visit with other athletes. Bottled water will be provided for athletes.
